3. Cookie Categories
- Essential (Strictly Necessary): Required for login, authentication, payment processing, and core platform functionality. These cookies cannot be disabled as the Service cannot operate without them.
- Analytics & Performance: Help us understand how Customers and Partners use Yugy across event categories so we can improve the platform, optimize search results, and enhance the booking experience. These cookies collect aggregated, anonymous data.
- Functional: Remember your preferences (e.g., service category, location filters, display settings) to provide a personalized experience. Disabling these cookies may reduce personalization.
- Marketing & Advertising: Currently not in use. If Yugy introduces marketing cookies in the future, this policy will be updated and your explicit consent will be requested prior to their deployment.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. Yugy uses the following third-party services that may set cookies:
- Google Analytics: for anonymous usage statistics and platform performance analysis.
- Stripe: for secure payment processing (essential cookies only).
- Supabase: for authentication and session management (essential cookies only).
These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. Yugy does not control third-party cookies and is not responsible for their practices.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through several methods:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
- Yugy consent banner: When available, use our cookie consent banner to manage your preferences for non-essential cookies.
- Google Analytics opt-out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using core features of Yugy, including account login, booking, and payment processing.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signal. There is currently no industry standard for how companies should respond to DNT signals. Yugy does not currently respond to DNT signals but honors cookie preferences set through our consent mechanisms.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Material changes will be communicated via an updated notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
